You know that I'm gonna love seeing this place through your eyes, Mary Beth, now that I have been there several times on my own. No two people ever see the same thing in the same way. This image is a perfect example. It's like, "Where did you see THAT?!" So bring it on.
marybeth: Cool, Ginnie! It was so much fun visiting your city. Although I didn't get to see much, what I did see was very cool. We, the conference attendees, got to go to the Aquarium one evening and they catered in food prepared at Wolfgang Puck's kitchen and we got to sit there and mingle while the Beluga Whales danced in the water. What an awesome experience! I want to go back when I can spend more time in the aquarium; we only got to be in the actual aquarium area for about 45 minutes. -Mary Beth
Very cool light but it's not a jellyfish is it?
marybeth: Thanks, Mary. I couldn't decide if this fiber-optic light was supposed to be a jelly fish or an anenome. Either way, it was really pretty... a lot of these large lights (about 3-4 feet across) all over the ceiling.
You are deep into catching decorative stuff the last number of days. There are great patterns and opportunities there - as per this example
marybeth: Thank you, Louis. This aquarium was so full of photo opportunities. I want to go back and get more photos!
It's amazing !!! Beautiful !!!
marybeth: Thank you! That whole place is amazing!
Wonderful capture. I like the colours and the lines!
marybeth: Thank you, Richard. Next time, the good camera goes with me! There's so much at this place to photograph.
This looks great! I like the framing with the strong diagonals.
marybeth: Thanks, Martin. These lights were so cool!
Nice pattern shot again Marybeth but don't try this one in B&W, it's great as it is.
marybeth: Thank you, Brian. I wasn't going to! LOL
Very sci-fi looking! I think I'm going to enjoy the tour!
marybeth: Thanks, Bill! I hope you do enjoy it. I know that I had a wonderful time there.
I am really looking forward to this series. Wonderful first image. (:o)
